Sean Marshall to pitch next Wed

I'm really curious to see what Marshall can do next week. I wonder if he is even a canidate for the #5 spot. He wasn't spectacular last year but he was definately one of the bright spots of all the young pitchers we used.

I bet with his late start he is not in the running. I like the kid but I think they may send him down to get more innings. From what I have read of Piniella's comments it may be coming down to Miller or Guzman. Lou was impressed with Miller yesterday, but said he will have a better feel for the 5th spot after seeing Guzman pitch Friday (which also happens to be the day Prior will pitch at the Minor League camp).

I think it will be Miller or Guzman as well but if either of them struggle early, then maybe Lou looks to Marshall in May.

I think that Marshall is definately in the Cubs future rotation.The only question is when the future may be.

Hopefully he's in the future rotation......as long as we dont trade him.

I doubt he is even being considered at this point. Maybe if he started on time he would have had a chance. His future really looks bright for us.

I think he'll be in triple A, but could be called up from time to time. I like marshall and believe he has a bright future ahead of him.

They have made some bad decisions about young arms in the past. But this time we have a lot more young talent that can fill in if we did (not that I want them to).
