The Giants are involved in talks with free agent Juan Pierre, ESPN.com's Jerry Crasnick reports.
That sounds like Brian Sabean. Crasnick says the word in Naples is that Pierre could get a deal for three years and about $30 million, a humongous sum for the game's premier outmaker.


Man the giants are nuts, we wouldn't even offer him 7 mill a year. Pierre is a great person and has a top notch work ethic, but he has a noodle arm and is very 1 dimensional. I'm glad for Pierre financially, but feel sorry for the Giant fans that would be a horrible contract.

I can't believe somebody would pay him that much either. I like Juan, but that's too much for him.
