First Pick in my draft

Hey all,
I was hoping somebody could help me out. I have the first pick in my draft and am becoming hesitant about picking pujols due to injury rumors. I could take Dlee or ryan howard and get similar numbers. What do you guys think?

I would pick Pujols

but I had the first pick in one of my other drafts and I took Soriano. I went with speed and power in that due to the scoring categories.

Go with Pujols, he's consistant year in and year out. D-Lee is a good choice as well but Pujols is a better one. As for Howard, he had a good year last year but can he back it up this year??? Who knows.

this is my first year playing fantasy baseball so i dont know much but i think i got pretty damn lucky not missing out on those guys.

I'm always scared of picking Cubbies.. :) Pujols is just about the best pick you can ask for. He's always consitant, even when he plays hurt. You can probably get DLee in the second round, if you really wanted two first basemen.. I'd shoot for David Wright if he's still around though.

As Much as I hate to say it take Pujols. You can;t go wrong with Santana either.

I'm always scared of taking a pitcher that high too.. they get hurt so easy!

Santana would be a great choice, Lee prolly could be gotten a little later, of course i'd take Soriano over pujols. He's like 2 players, you get the power number and the stolen base totals.

Yep I went with Pujols. Second pick was Aram then Branden Webb. Have to get good pitching in this league. I would post my whole lineup but im at work and dont have time. I seriously thought about taking Soriano, debated with myself up to the last minute.

I figured **** it.....i'll live and die with the Cubbies...the Cubs on my fantasy team are: Lee, Rammy, Barrett, Zambrano, Soriano (starters) and then Murton, Theriot, Hill (bench)

Oh man i wanted to get Reyes, someone picked him first though..........so i had to settle on a middle infield of Jimmy Rollins/Brandon Phillips.

Lol i actually i do have 2 friends in it but naw it's a 10 man yahoo league. I picked Soriano and Zambrano in the first round (soriano was the 2nd overall pick). My first 5 picks went like this... Soriano, Zambrano, Lee, Rammy, Rollins. Keep in mind to get them i had to pass on Reyes, Howard, Pujols and players like that. But hopefully it will be well worth it

It depends what type of league it is, but Pujols should go #1 overall. If not then Sori or Reyes. I'm not big on grabbing pitchers until later rounds. You can get a guy like Sheets, Cain, or Bedard in the 6th or higher.

I like how cbssportsline becuase it shows you who is scheduled to pitch right on your roster. But I like yahoo's watch list.
