I have some questions before we start this thing in the next week. Where are the rules for this league? Is there a forum in our league where we can discuss stuff? I see the talk smack button but is this what this is for? So, if a player in your lineup is not greyed out (i.e. white background) then stats will be compiled during games. Is this correct? In other words, if they are not on your bench then they are playing? Stupid question, I know, but I don't want to assume anything and then screw myself out of points. Right now I have Pedro Martinez and Roger Clemens going for me and they are most likely not playing anytime soon. Can I replace them with any pitcher or does it have to be a starter? First time with Fantasy Baseball so if these are basic questions, then sorry. :D

Hi there roenick, hope this helps....
The rules for the league can be found here (http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/baseball/rules/)
The forum? You can use this one or on the League home page down at the bottom you can post messages
The smack talk? Just a fun little thing you can put on your avitar to talk "smack"... such as "I rule" or "Ruler of Fantasy"
The greyed out players are not in your current days lineup. You can drop and drag the players to switch them out.
You can replace the any player with any position... but you want to watch to make sure you have enough of each position to get the points you need. That's a tough call with both Clemens and Martinez, but not knowing if and when they will return, and what they will actually contribute to the team when they come back, do you really want them just sitting on the bench and eating up a space on your roster that could be used by someone who will get you points right out of the gate?
Hope this helped! Good luck!

You'll be able to put Pedro on the DL once the season starts. That will free up a roster spot to pick someone up on the waiver wire. Are you in the points or head to head league

Sorry for the delay. I am in the head to head league. I finally figured out (after going 0-10 this week) that I can adjust my lineup daily (not weekly) and that I could put someone on the DL. I hope to have a better week this week now that I have a little more of a clue. Although, in my defense, EVERYBODY on my team has started slow out of the gate and so I just could not recover from that.
