Besides following the Cubs, I enjoy being active. I like to play basketball, football, tennis, and pretty much any sport. What about you guys?

Hey red. I enjoy doing active things also and enjoy lifting weights. I also collect autographs in my spare time. Haven't gotten too many Cubs players, but do have a Nolan Ryan baseball personalized to me along with a Roger Clemens signed photo from when he was with the Red Sox. fogpog is turning into a hobby of mine also! :D

Cool scuba. Do you collect other autographs, like movie stars or musicians? I like browsing around the Internet (I know, kind of lame) and looking for stuff. YouTube is a fun place to go and I mess around on MySpace from time to time.

Baseball is by far my favorite sport. Always has been. It's now in my son's blood...lol

He may know about the sport then I do and he's only 10...lol

I'm the assistant coach on my son's traveling team. I like to do DIY projects around the house, I like video games, watch Bulls basketball, and Bears football

There's others but I don't wanna bore ya...:D :D

I do what every teenager who doesn't suck does. I hang out with my friends. I do like to play basketball, even though I suck. I also listen to music a lot, and unfortunatly I go to school.

Oh and scuba, since you were on the subject of autographs, I only have 1, but it's a ball signed by Mark Texeira, so it's pretty nice. I'm lookin for a new case for it tough, cause the one I have its just a square. My friend was so jealous when I got it though, because he wanted 1 too, but he got in line too late and he went back inside to get dressed before he was able to get one.

Speaking of autographs, I have a ball signed by Tony Gwynn.

I love photography! There is nothing like capturing an innocent moment and turning it into a memory!

I also enjoy scrapbooking, although there hasn't been much time for it lately. I was really into it the first year of my son's life... and I have an entire room dedicated to all of my supplies, but I just haven't had the time or energy to keep up on it.

I, too, collect autographs. I have Todd Walker, Matt Murton, Scott Eyre, Sean Marshall, all of the 2005 Peoria Chiefs (including Eric Patterson), Ernie Banks, Ryne Sandberg, Les Lancaster...and on one ball, I have Randy Hundley, Frank Castillo, Scott Sanderson, Richie Helm, Jim Riggleman, Spike O'Dell, Ron Santo, and Andy Pafko from a Cubs convention back in the day. Non-Cub autographs, I have Stone Cold Steve Austin and the late Dana Plato (the girl from Different Strokes who killed herself).

Autograph seekers.... after a Cubs game, go back to the players parking lot and you will be surprised at how many players will stand out there and sign autographs for the fans after the games.

Other than baseball, hobbies would include fencing, cooking, writing, and volleyball. And other things that I can't think of right now like reading...

Oh, and for autographs, I have Murton, Aardsma, Marshall, Utley (Minor League ball, though), Rusch, and Ohman...and some other minor league player that I haven't a clue who he was.

Hey, Scuba, there is a good article in this month's Vineline about autograpah collecting. I love the quote by Barrett:

"If there's time, I try to make a good connection with that person, because I remember when I was a kid, when I got a n autograph it was esciting and made me realize that players are people, too".

He was talking about the fact he doesn't just like to sign autographs, but if there is time, he likes to talk to the fans to make it more an experience not just a name on a ball or card.

This is my main hobby besides the Cubbies. '93 Bronco with a 6" lift and 35" tires. There is a ton of good 4 wheeling and rock crawling here in Arizona.

I keep liking Barrett more and more every time I hear something like this from him. He's a quality guy and a good ballplayer.

Er, I play cricket and squash weekly, and soccer most days. Other than those I spend most of my time avoiding doing uni work, which i'm becoming highly skilled at, usually just generally fannying around my flat.

Geez, I would die without cubs games and espn.

My hobbies are basketball and football, both playing a watching.
Weighlifting, hanging out with friends, listening to music. Playing video games ocassionally. The computer I would say is a majority of my free-time, I wouldn't consider myself a nerd, but people say i know alot. I like to work on photoshop, and eventually learn to code. I am taking that next year in school.

I have more but I will bore you.

I love listening to music and singing at the top of my lungs even though my voice is awful, reading, i'm in band at school and play the flute, eating, collecting baseball cards and anything cubs-related, and I love watching blue collar comedy tour and mel brooks movies. I love telling jokes and making people laugh. It's cool being the person who others always go to to be cheered up, but sometimes I feel like a bartender too because they come to me with all their stupid high school "drama" problems and expect me to give good advice, which I hope I do. sorry if I bored anyone lol.
