Bill Mueller has decided to retire from the Dodgers and baseball. I've always liked Bill. He had a great eye at the plate and always played hard. It was horrible to see him have that injury when he was with the Cubs.

Yea, it's always kinda sad when someone has to retire from an injury.

Yes that was sad... I believe we was playing the Cardinals at Wrigley and he blew out his knee on the brick wall attempting to catch a foul ball.
Wow, I can't believe I remember that.

yeah he was a hell of an all around player, multiple gold glove/silver slugger/allstar if he would have stayed healthy

I personally think it was time for him. One hell of a player.

Yes, I used to love watching him bat in the #2 hole for the cubs.
He was a great defensive player as well.
