Look on the bottom left hand side of the sidebar.... in the Top 100 Baseball sites, we have made the top 30 list!!!!!! Thanks Scuba for all of your hard work, and thanks to all of the loyal fogpog "addicts" we have on here that help make this the awesome site it has become in such a short time!:D

I'm wondering, how does this ranking site ranks the sites? Is it hits or members?

What is the TOP 100?

How it works?

TOP 100 system gathers different stats from the placed banners. Most important parameters are the quantity of unique hits in and the quantity of banner impressions. Site statistics is accumulated and the average for the previous 10 days is calculated using the formula with weighted coefficients for different statistical parameters.

Sites are ranged in order of the rating decreasing (sites with the bigger ratings placed higher).

I just looked at the site...and we are actually number 22 on there, not 26!

From 146 to 22 in two days is amazing. It's a testament to each and everyone on this site that gives their input that makes it as great as it has become.

Not to mention the fantastic job that yourself, along with Scuba has done to make this the best place to talk Cubs baseball.

Anyone else notice that 3 of the top 14 sites deal with the Cubs! Amazing! Great job scuba and all of my fellow fogpoggers!

Pretty incredible guys. You should be proud, as all of you have made fogpog what it is. With your help, we will continue to grow, be the best place to talk Cubs baseball, and move toward being #1 on that list. Congrats to everyone! :D

VanMan, Go to the bottom left of the page to the box that says 'Top 100 Baseball Sites' and click on it. It lists all the sites in order. Of course, fogpog is now #9! :cool:

Just checked out the other site, and it's run by some chick, hense the name "A League of Her Own."

EDIT: Not that there's anything wrong with Cubs Chicks. I'd love to be with a Cubs Chick.

Thanks, ARamfan. Broadcasting was what I wanted to do when I got my degree, but I had to go the print route. Unfortunately, that (so far) hasn't worked out either.

Yeah, eric, i loved your chat with heather (ryno) the other day (cannae mind the game), it was really good. Thing is, i ought to be online for most games (being as how i can only keep up on the net) but the last few days i've been pretty slack (blasted exams), keep it up and i swear ill be on every game during june at least..

furthermore, i feel the next real target for us (after we inevitably become no 1) is become ranked for a different sport: i'm reckoning we could have a good shout for the Bears next year...

Very interesting that you should say that. My degree is in print journalism (public relations emphasis) and the print route definitely didn't work out, at least not as far as earnings. I've made much more in PR and editing.
