I really couldn't tell you where he'll play.....my guess right now would be CF

It will be interesting because he could play CF for us, either corner outfield spot (if we get rid of Jones), or he could play 2B if we make some other outfield move. It's a lot of money, but at least it was just money and we still have players we could use for trades if we want to. This is just amazing! :D

He could play any of the three OF positions. It sounds like Hendry isn't done with the outfield yet. I just hope he doesn't forget the pitching.

An article on the Trib's site says that the Cubs are planning on putting him in center and having him lead off.

I am happy with this. We still need starters though, and we have yet to figure out the closer situation.

This is great. It is alot of money but who cares im not paying it. Cubs already said they wont raise the ticket prices, they never said anything about the peanut prices though. Good move now lets get some pitching.

I cant decide if I want to throw up Im so excited or cry

Personally I hope he's in CF and we keep Murton for LF. I really like Murton and think he is the balanced patient hitter we need.

Personally I also feel this means we keep Jones because we gotta have at least 1 LH bat in the lineup.

I really wonder now if Pie is the chip we use to get pitching.

I don't know, I never really bought into the whole you need a lefty thing. Look at it this way which would you rather have a good righty bat or a crappy lefty bat just to have one in the order. Not saying Jones is crappy just giving an example.
