The Cubs and Astros were supposed to play a makeup game of their April 11 snowout on July 12, which was supposed to be their final off-day of the All-Star break.
But Cubs player representative Will Ohman said the team is considering rescheduling it as part of a day-night doubleheader either later in the July 13-15 series or when Houston comes back to town Aug. 31-Sept. 2.
Ohman was unaware of report out of Seattle that the Mariners had asked the Cubs to move their interleague series in Chicago from June 12-14 to June 11-13 to give the Mariners a chance to go to Cleveland and play a makeup doubleheader against the Indians on June 14.
The Cubs refused to move up the series by one day because they have a day off June 11 and likely will have their June 10 game in Atlanta switched to a night game to accommodate ESPN.
I know there was at least one person on the board who had tickets to this game.... keep an eye out for more info!
