The Reds have come to terms with shortstop Alex Gonzalez and relief pitcher Mike Stanton. Not bad additions for the Reds, but with the way the Cubs are going this offseason, the rest of the division really has to step it up.

Let's just hope they don't.

Even if they do we have the biggest names that were out there, starting with ramirez resigning. Just bring in some a couple veteran pitchers and i like our chances.

I think that the cardinals are gonna be contenders no matter what : / now the rest of the division I don't know. The reds atleast have done something so far.

Stanton is washed up.
His days with the yankees were his prime years.
and with no supporting cast in the reds bullpen, I think he will struggle.

But Gonzo was a good pick up for them IMO, but not the greatest.

The Cardinals always seem to find ways to win. That is why I say we should go all out with our signings. one more bat and a couple of pitchers and some good baseball strategy and we should run away with the division.
