Hey, hey!! My name is Nick (aka Madden King). I have been a Cub fan for over 25 years now (yeah, I'm showing my age a little :) ) and I am a veteran of many sports message boards (including my own). I Have been looking for good place talk about the Cubs and I think might have FINALLY found the best spot!!! I see, at least, one familiar member here, Ryno4ever (from another old Cubs board)! Anyway, I will be around here very often. I like the look of this place already!!!

Good to know...i'm in north central texas, a couple of hours west of dallas.

I used to be in the Army. I was stationed at Fort Hood. Are you anywhere near there?

Fort Hood is by Killeen isnt it? That might be 2 or 3 hours away.

Yes, it is. I spent 2 long years there from '99 to '01.

Well i hope it was long because of the Army and not Texas lol, i've never been to Killeen so i dont know what it's like or how the scenery is, but there is alot of cool places here. We got a bit of everything like....Pine forests, mountains, the gulf, desert, canyons, lakes, swamps, beaches and i'm sure theres more.
