cubs signed soriano to a 8 year 136 million dollar contract! definatly worth it in my opinion. this will be a huge boost for the cubs...lets go cubbies!

Only thing I have to say is its about time we covert the big name free agent!!I am glad to see the Cubs actually spending some of the Trib's money. I think we might get to the promised land sometime in the near future!

I agree. Our rookie pitchers last year were up and down, though it seemed that some of the well pitched games were all for not because of the lack of offense. This offense will be much better, even if we don't get all the pitching we need our young arms stand a better chance at success this season.
