I was thinking about this. I work at Wal-Mart and I seen people stay over 24 hours in the cold for the new PS3. I was wondering if any of you camped out for Cubs tickets. I did for the '89 NLCS (which the Cubs lost 11-3, Game 1)

No, but I'm gonna try to for this season and pray I get there early enough for opening day tickets. And if I don't get them, Ebay, here I come.

I haven't before, but I will tell you that if the Cubs make it to the WS, there will be nothing that will stop me from going to at least one game. I don't care how much the tickets are or anything. That was my plan in '03 too, so that just added to the devastation when it didn't happen. :(

Or I could just find this guy who sells a buncha tickets before the games. He stands like right outside the entrance to the L, and I saw him last game I went to with a big bundle of tickets, and my friends mom said that her friend got good tickets from the guy the day of a game, and he's ligit, so it's pretty cool.

Never for baseball, but frequently for soccer. I had the pleasure of knowing my friends had been queuing all night (in March, in the rain) for T in the Park (music fest) tickets while I woke up at 8.30 and had them booked online by half past 9. Fools!
Don't think I would do it for anything other than a game/gig though: why do people need a PS3 that badly anyway? Sigh.
