BAD BAD BAD IDEA! All he needs is to pitch in save situations every 3 or 4 days. He has 9 saves and 2 bad outings.

Did I tell you it was a really bad idea?

If Guzman cant do it, I would rather see Marshall than Demps. I lived through him starting once before and it was not fun. I hate to say it but Demps is solid in the pen.

Rotworld is reporting that after the game Dempster said he was in the rotation, but after a meeting with Pinella he's back in the 'pen.
Is this Lou's big surprise? If so, I've been blueballed...

No way I want Dempster in the rotation. That ship has sailed. He is no John Smoltz. Bring up Marshall but please leave Dempster in the pen.

I agree, leave him in the pen.

This is not a sure thing, is it?!?! I really hope the Lou does not go through with this.

Being on a regular schedule will allow Dempster to do his usual late night rituals more often, hence him being excited about the prospects of such a move.

Why not give him a shot? It wouldn't be the worst idea this team has had in the last few years. If Wood ever comes back try him in the closer spot.

Demp was a starter a few years back, and he was HORRIBLE.

That's not saying he still would be though. The point is you never know.
