1-0 Braves going to bottom 1. A gift hit by Johnson (it was an error by Theriot, should have been credited that way), lead to a run... Nice to see the sloppy baseball continues...
We're facing Kyle Davies today. This is the kind of guy you light up and put a losing streak behind you...

At least they're being consistant. Consistantly bad... 1st & 2nd, 1 out, Ramirez hits into a 4-3 double play...
End of 1, 1-0 Braves...

4-1 Brave... 2 Run double... Jones can't field for ****, or throw to the goddamn cutoff man...
With a 1-2 count, Z has to pick better locations...
This is friggin' sad...

****ing Jones... Who taught this guy how to field... 4-1 Braves... 2 more runs score...
The D is TERRIBLE... Z hada 1-2 count, he needs better pitch selection...
Bad, bad, baseball...

At least Sori got an outfield assist... Too bad it doesn't make up for Jones...
Get this guy off the roster and bring up Pie...

Sounds like some inspired baseball
This team is well-managed and well-constructed. I'm glad Lou and Hendry are on the same page since it is a $100 million team and they increased ticket prices again this year.

Ron Santo needs to lay off the drugs... "With a day like today, we're still in this game." Not with our defense and bullpen... Oh, and the fact that we hit like little leaguers...
I hope we get some top prospects for Zambrano...
8-1 Braves... Francour RBI single...

Kyle Davies has 3 hits today... Our entire lineup has a total of 6...
It's nice to know that Terry Pendleton coach a pitcher to hit better then Gerald Perry can coach our entire roster...

Good to know that even when we make a STELLAR defensive play, that Eyre can screw us in other ways BY NOT COVERING THE BAG IN TIME... Harris has speed, but Eyre needs to get his fat ass to first!

If Barrett & Zambrano used a tenth of the energy fighting each other as they did when they're on the field, maybe they'd look like major leaguers...

8-5 Final... They blue balled us just enough to make us think possible rally, until Izturis killed it with a game ending DP...
The fight I heard on MLB.com radio pacakge at my office... From what I know, after the 5th, Z & Barrett had words, and then pushed and punched. I'm sure it'll be all over the TV...

Barrett had a passed ball and a bad throw on the same play. This allowed a run to score from second, then the wheels fell of the cart.
Then back in the dugout after the inning was over, Z confronts barrett and is saying something with a look of disgust on his face. He said somethin about the boneheaded play barret made, because he was pointing at his head. I bet he was saying something about "think about what your doing", or "get your head in the game". Then barret starts pointing at the scoreboard and firing back at Z. As to say something about how Z was getting lit up and the game was out of hand as it is. Then Z got p*ssed and shoved Barrett. Then players got in the middle of it and broke it up. No major punches thrown, but they would have if it wasn't broke up. They were then led into the clubhouse, and who knows what happened in there, because players acted as if they heard them fighting again and ran into the clubhouse.

Awesome, so let me get this straight
a) the Cubs will be going with 2 minor league catcher for the next 10 days or so
b) they need to call up another starter for that time period, and could have 4 lefties in the rotation if it is Cotts
The season has been ending earlier and earlier every year since 2004

that passed ball was just as much Z's falt as it was Barrett's.

If they are out due to suspensions, there are no callups, the team just has to runs short.
