Floyd is still unavailable because of an oblique injury that he suffered yesterday in Batting Practice...hopes to be ready to go tomorrow....
Murton is out with a back injury.... of course, Barrett is a little banged up. SO that leaves a very short bench today....
Smoltz will not face the Cubs, his start has been pushed back to Tuesday when the Braves play a double header against the Marlins.

from Cubs.com:
Maybe Piniella needs to throw a fit to get the Cubs going.
"If that were the case, I'd volunteer for that every day," Piniella said. "Does a manager really have to be tossed to light a fire for somebody? I don't think so.
"If there's something out there that's really flagrant, yeah, you go out there and argue for your team," he said. "We haven't had that many calls one way or another. One series with the umpires, as far as home plate, we weren't happy with and we reacted a little bit. I don't see where a manager has to get kicked out of ballgames."
That doesn't mean Piniella has mellowed.
"I'm sure I'll get kicked out of here soon," he said
"You're going to laugh at this," Piniella said, "but what really gets a manager kicked out more than anything is frustration. You get frustrated, so you go take it out on the umpire."
The Cubs have given him many reasons to be frustrated this season.
"I haven't seen anything on the field that I thought was flagrant enough to go out there and really argue about," he said. "Put it this way -- the umpiring is not the cause of why we're 22-29. The umpiring has been consistent and it's been good. Why go argue with somebody if they're doing their job?"
However, Piniella can pick his spots. He's done it before.
"Once in a while, I've [told] umpires before a ballgame, 'Look, you're going to have to kick me out today. Somebody's going to have to get me,'" he said. "I said, 'Whoever wants it, I'll be over there calling.
