This will be the question of the day tomorrow, since Z is the scheduled starter. I don't know what to expect, I just know that it's an extremely important game and it would be nice to have our 'Ace' in proper working order. :p

It would be a good idea to have Koyie Hill catch Z in this game. I don't think the physical or emotional scars have healed yet.

I really hope this is "the start" that turns Z around.....at the same time i'm gonna bench his ass on my fantasy team...so he'll probably turn in a solid effort.

He will be on his best behaivior. That outburst with Barrett cost him a few million on his market value.

WE definitely need him to be on top of his game. We need to take this series.

Yeah it's definitely time for him to turn it around. He needs to have a good
1st inning because they've been killing him. and hopefully he can hit his spots.

At no point this year has he been our "Ace". I don't see him returning to last years form any time soon.

Hill will catch him this game.

Piniella reiterated he would start Koyie Hill behind the plate for Zambrano's start but added that Barrett would catch Zambrano "in the future." Piniella seemed intent Saturday on keeping the two from working together but apparently changed his mind.

"There will be times this year where I'm catching 'Z' and I'll be fully prepared," Barrett said. "Lou knows what's best."

My fear is that Z KNOWS how important this game is for both his future and the team. Every sports media outlet in the country will be paying attention to him today because of his "little tantrum" the other day. I just hope that due to the added pressure, he doesn't buckle. We need this win badly. We are in 4TH PLACE BEHIND THE CARDS AND THE PIRATES! If him being distracted by the contract has any influence on the way he is pitching, I can only imagine what the distraction of his fight the other day is going to cause.
