Edmonds is washed up.
Rolen is injury proned.
Pujols... well he is Pujols.
Look at our new revamped lineup and it is clearly better.
We get our starting rotation looking smooth and I really do think we are the favorites in the national league central.

Yeah I agree with you there...and besides Carpenter, their pitching staff wasnt even that great...All they've proven to us is that if we can just win the weak NL Central Division/Go to playoffs, we can do it too!

Well I can go for another division title. I dont really see any other team in the division making any real moves. Cubs have had the Cardinals number the last few years, so what the hell if a 83 win team can win the World Series so can we.

I agree with Jason.
Edmonds can still play some good defense. But his age is taking an effect and that will show. Pujols is unstoppable so there is no way around that.
We just need to score more runs with our powerful lineup

Very true, but the still have a lot of pesky hitters and depending on what the do with their SP they will still be a good team. Provided LaRussa doesnt bat K machine Encarnacion behind Pujols like he did in the NLCS. I hope he does that all year!
