I was saying no, no. Whew, I will be glad when these guys get out of town. Taveras is driving me nuts. If Ohman does not get Helton, I just wonder if Lou would have went with Petrick. Hills hit was huge.

I couldn't watch....LITERALLY! I was just waiting for that crack of the bat! Big sigh of relief when I heard Len call the pop up!

Lefties usually do not bother Helton, but he was 0-4 vs. Ohman. Lou went with the percentages and it worked. I was worried that he may walk him and then we would have to see Atkins.

I don't know if anyone else has noticed this but it seems to me that within the first 2 pitches Ohman throws you can usually tell how he is going to do. If he comes out and throws a first pitch strike I tend to sit back a little but we have all seen him get into to many 2-0 and 3-0 counts that all lead to him losing total control with the first batter he faces and then it turns into a disaster.

It looked like Helton was expecting the same thing. 1st pitch 92 mph on the outer half of the plate. Great pitch

I thought he should stick with Marmol - Helton was 0for2 against him. But Lou knew what he was doing, and that is why I am not the manager.
