New fogpog host!

Hey guys. Just want to let you all know that earlier today we switched to a new host: (mt) Media Temple (www.mediatemple.net (http://www.mediatemple.net)). Media Temple is host to some of the bigger names in the world (Nike, ABC, Starbucks, etc.), and is now the home for fogpog.com! As some of you know, we have had periods over the past few months where service from out host hasn't been the greatest and pages have taken some time to load (if at all). Our new host should fix this. During the transition, there may have been a couple posts that were lost (I can't be sure though), so if there were I apologize. We tried to make the transition as smooth as possible and I think we succeeded.

Thank you to everyone for making fogpog what it is and a special thanks to those who have donated. The donations do help out and make a difference and allow us to upgrade to a wonderful host like Media Temple. If you would like to donate, simply click on the "Donate" link in the upper right hand corner of any page or the link located in my signature.

Thanks for the upgrade Scuba. It was definatly needed. We have had a few periods today where threads were jumping around but nothing that couldn't be dealt with. Keep up the good work!!!

Okay guys, apparently there were some unresolved issues switching from our old host, but those should now be taken care of. Because of the issues, some of you will notice some of your posts are gone (especially in the Bleachers section) if you have posted there in the last couple hours. The reason for this is because the domain was switching back and forth between the hosts every so often and therefore some posts did not "take" while this was occuring. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do to get these posts back. I apologize, and feel free to re-post anything that appears to have been lost. Thank you to SKIPPER 11 for informing us of this problem.

All should be back to normal now. If any other problems arise, please email or PM me. :)

What's even better...the Cubs are winning and more and more people are wanting a place to talk Cubbies and celebrate with each other! I make a post on myspace quite a bit...and those of you who have myspace, make posts to your friends to get them on here! I think that is how we got Skipper on here! :)
