I know there are 2 weeks left in the regluar season of college football, but who would you like to see/do you think deserves to play in the National Championship?

I think that if USC can beat Notre Dame this weekend, then it should be Ohio State and USC in the championship.

Yes, but we already saw who one that game.
Only factor was it was NOT neutral territory.

I would not be against the rematch.

I think they are probably the two best teams, but I don't want to see a rematch. Plus, what does Ohio State gain from it? They have to beat them twice to win the championship, and if they don't, they probably split the title and you don't end up with a true champion. I've got an idea for a playoff system which I think would work very well. I'll have to share it with you guys here.

Yes, don't you remember, UNI had to go through like 4 teams to get to the national championship

Yeah, UNI and other Division I-AA teams do the playoff thing, and all other college sports do the playoff thing. Heck, that's what makes March Madness so special. But, no, the Division I-A presidents and chancellors had to give us this BS about students missing classes. Heck, basketball players miss more class than the football players do, with all the games they play mid-week. That's why on another board I call the Bowl Championship Series the BS system.

Yes, the BCS is a total crock.
I dont agree with the "average" thing.
It's not right.
It leaves many deserving teams out of potential big bowl games.

If Florida beats Arkansas I think you can make a case for them as well as USC if they beat ND.

I would love a playoff. This kind of crap happens every single year...:eek:

Yes, and that is EXACTLY why something needs to be changed.
You are going to have pissed off fans whose team didnt make it and get screwed, but then you will also have the fans whose team got the big game and will LOVE the BCS system.
