That was weird, but I have always believed in things from the other side. My best friend used to live in an old barn that was converted into a house. It was haunted, and we used to see all sorts of weird things happen. We think it was a "nice ghost" as it never did anything to hurt anyone, but it was creepy none the less, and needless to say, they don't live there anymore.

The ouija board thing relates to me. We use to play it all the time in college. Nothing really ever happened, but watching that video- Ill never play again

In high school, I was staying the night at a friend's house and we did the Ouija board.... she lived on a farm in the middle of nowhere. While we were playing it, the back door slammed shut. The weird thing was that it was winter so the door was already shut...and everyone was home for the night. When that happened, we threw the board outside and went back to my house to spend the night. I had totally forgotten about that until I watched that video!

I am a regular listener of "coast to coast am" with George Noory. They delve into all aspects of the paranormal. On his Wednesday, July 25th show, he will have a panel of paranormal experts with him to conduct a seance by using a Ouija board to attempt to make contact with the beyond. He has recieved many warnings from his peers including Art Bell to not go through with it. You never know what you may turn up, and it could be very dangerous.

I've had two experiences of the hereafter in my lifetime. The first was when my wifes (at the time) father had just passed. Her and I went to his home when we got word, and he was lying on the floor covered up. After the coroner did his work, we went home.
We were right in the middle of a movie when we got the bad news. When we got home, she decided to go to bed. I started watching the movie where I left off, and fell asleep in the process. All of a sudden, I heard her fathers voice telling me to take good care of his daugher. I jumped up, turned around, and saw the brightest light for a split second that I have ever seen before. And all of a sudden, it just faded away.
The second is a bad situation that happened at work. One of my co-workers was killed while trying to unload a new machine off of a flatbed semi. A support strap broke, and all the weight shifted to his side and crushed him from the weight of the machine.
From that point on, strange things started happening at work. I had several experiences of hearing pounding noises behind me when I was the only person in the building. Once, I took a lunch break and went to wash up, walking by the microwave oven. All of a sudden. the microwave started running on it's own. The machine he used to run would start up on it's own.
The worst experience was when I took a bathroom break. The machine that he was trying to unload was within eyeshot as you would come out of the bathroom. One night, as I came out of the bathroom, there he was looking right back at me. I jumped right out of my skin. He was standing right behind the machine that killed him.

My best friend in high school had a similar experience to your father-in-law one. The summer before our freshmen year in high school, one of our close friends was killed on his bicycle when he was hit by a car. Our class only had 33 people in it, so we were all very close. My friend was on a family vacation out in California when it happened so she didn't even find out about it until she got home. She had missed the funeral and visitation. The first night back, she was in bed asleep and felt something really cold "tingly" brush across her cheek. She immediately sat up, and in the reflection of the street light coming through her window, she saw Tommy (our friend who was killed) sitting in her wicker chair that she had gotten for one of her junior high graduation gifts, he smiled and waved at her and then he was gone. Just a little freaked out, she ran and got her mom, and her mom explained to her that he was just saying goodbye and gave her the chance to say goodbye to him...as if it was a "normal" thing!!!!!

I had something similar happen to me last November. I had a friend with terminal cancer and we all knew the end was pretty near. As I lay in bed asleep one night during this time, I was awakened by what felt like someone hugging me. Then I saw my friend faintly and heard him speaking quietly. He just said that he's O.K. now and just wanted to say goodbye. I wasn't totally awake, but I wasn't dreaming either. The weirdest thing was that as I came to, I noticed that my arms were in an outstretched position as if I were hugging someone The next morning I got a call that he had died during the early morning hours. People were telling me the same thing, that he was just saying goodbye--like it was a normal thing!
