Anthony Reyes- one time Cardinal cant miss prospect pitcher- is going tonight vs. the Crew. He is 0-10. I ve got a feeling that will change tonight. Both teams have their big guns in the lineup the second game of the DH. Unfortunately Dusty is not managing the Brewers. If that was the case- Counsell, Graffanino, Mench, Miller, and Gross would all be getting second game duty to rest the studs.

He has only given up one hit and one run through 4! I hoe you don't have to "put your foot in your mouth" on this one! :)

I just said he was due. I used to say the same about a guy named Anthony Young- former Cub- who went 0-24 at one time.

Well its up to the pen in SL. Reyes left with the lead 3-2, going 6 allowing 2 hits and 2 runs. Pretty good job. Braun can absolutely kill the ball but he is horrible on defense.

4-2 St. Louis leading in bottom of 7th

Edit: two pitches later Pujols steals second and then scores on basehit. 5-2

Oh my I never thought I would ever route for the Cardinals

I think i read where the Brewers only had 3 hits tonight!

As far as Braun, he is young and will improve. Look at Rameriz when we got him, his defense was horrible!!! Now, I think he may have a legit shot at a gold glove this year.

Braun has triple crown potential at the plate, not quite as polished as Pujols but close. He has the prettiest right handed swing I have ever seen. He strikes out some though. I hope he doesnt improve too much more.

Top six now with two out and no one on. If the Cards can come back, we'll just be a half game out and one up in the loss column.

Cards just blew huge chance. Linebrink FANS Duncan and gets Edmonds to flyout with the bases juiced.

Rolen just tied it in the bottom of the eighth and Eck followed with a single. Bases juiced, one out. They arent the champs for nothing, I guess.
