I've been worried that the cards were going to make a comeback. Not getting Carpenter back will definately hurt. You have to remember that the Brewers are horrible on the road, so this might not be a reflection on how good the cards are. Having said that, I'm still worried they will be in it until the end.

I think the Brewers inability to win on the road will catch up with them and in turn cost them winning the Central. I also think the Cards don't have the pitching to stay in it....they do fight hard but I'm not sure they have enough.

Also... Cardinals can't count on huge comebacks like they have the last two days (including today).
