I just read a report on cubs.com that CLEE is heading in to sign a six year contract with the stros. I am not that happy about him still in our division. I was hoping he was going to go to the orioles.

You mean more then Lee? Someones got Soriano on the mind. Actually. I think all of us do. I still can't believe he's a Cub. :D

Actually, he's saying he'd rather see C-Lee with the Astros than seeing Soriano with them, and he's glad we got Soriano signed, sealed and delivered to the Wrigley ivy.

Talk about getting over paid... he is a decent player but 100 mil for 6 years???

I think there are very few players that are over paid in MLB, one is A-ROD but you cant really say that C. Lee is now over paid because Soriano set the market by signing so early in the offseason and for so much. (i don't really care for the guy but he makes a valid point) But Soriano is the far better player between the two for his speed, bat speed and athleticism (not to metion physical fitness). So the Astros were kinda forced to sign him to keep up with the the cubs.

In that park Lee is gonna put up monster numbers and now he gets to play at Wrigley 8-9 times a year again..............Ughhhh. I heard he celebrated his new contract by eating a small family of pygmies.
