Increased avatar KB/Size

If we could increase the avatar KB size that would be awesome since we can't have image signatures. I can't even get a decent avatar for 16 kb.

There's no image signatures?? I didn't even know about that... I was wondering why I wasn't allowed one period... but never even realized we couldn't use images...

what's the reasoning?
