Hey,

I just joined this forum, and thanks to whoever sent me the invite. The MLB board is terrible...

I'm a Cubs fan from NYC. I've always rooted for the Cubs (as well as the Orioles, yeah, I like pain), I alway dug Ryne Sandberg and Rick Sutcliffe, but have only been real die hard since 2000, but I still know the Cubs. My wife to be is a big Cubs fan (she went to DePaul and originally is from the Midwest).

I've actually never been to Chicago (flog me now), but it appears we'll be moving there next fall, so I'll be there couple times this spring and summer and look forward to catching some games, as well as the pending move.

Here's to 2007!

Oh, I went to NYC once a few years ago over the summer. I loved that place, almost as much as Chicago. I guess I just really like big cities.

Thanks for the well wishes. The wedding is in 17 days in Vegas, so it's crunch time... He wife to be is originally from Munising, MI. Up by Lake Superior, then Chicago, now NYC (then back to Chicago). I'm looking forward to the move. From what I've read, Chicago seems on point (figuring al the neighborhoods out), plus I'll have the wife and the Cubs, so I really can't go wrong.

again, good luck to you both. I don't remember if you said whether you had seen a cubs game or not. If not, you will truely enjoy Wrigley Field when you do go. I also reccomend taking in a game in Milwaukee. That is a nice park to see a game also.
