They really need to get off to a good start in Colorado. We can't afford to lose that series. The Brewers are not going to lose every game, and the Cardinals are creeping back into it. Lilly HAS to stop the bleeding and the offense HAS to get their heads out of their A$$. I look for things to turn around starting tomorrow night. For some reason I am overly optimistic right now even after watching this pathetic game. GO CUBS!!!!

I'm gonna be at that game tomorrow, so I really hope they do good. I really don't wanna drive 14 hours for nothing! God, we spent pretty much all day today driving and we're still only in the middle of Nebraska. And I still have 4 hours of driving to look forward to tomorrow! So for the love of God let the Cubs win tomorrow.

So, what really constitutes a "huge game"? I was thinking that the last 6 of 7 that they lost were pretty huge. I definitely thought the final game of the series against the 4th place team where you were about to get swept was pretty huge. I really think all the games are pretty huge. Those games in April and May are looking pretty huge right now. I think Prince Fielder is pretty huge. He is not quite as huge as his daddy, but he is getting there. I think Barry Bonds has had a huge career even though he took a huge amount of performance enhancing drugs. Just wanted to see how many times I could use the word "huge" in a post. I managed make this post huge by using that word in every sentence at least once.

Every game...every inning...every pitch is beginning to become important, as it is getting to that time of year. I really think the guys are just pressing too much. Maybe it is the fact that they are "scoreboard watching"....maybe they are uptight about losing Soriano, and now possibly Ram....Lou switching the lineup around trying to find that "right mix" makes me feel like we are back in April and May again! And that is downright scary. Maybe they need to be having the guys adjusting their approach at the plate. We've had the guys on base.... maybe a little executional small ball is really in order right now. The bunt, if I remember right, is a play used to move men over. I know Lou doesn't like to use the squeeze play, but jeez, how many men were left in scoring position during the last 3 games? We are not going to keep getting breaks of the Brewers losing, too. Like today, the Brewers don't play. We are either going to be .5 games behind or 1.5 games behind by the end of tonight.

The Rockies are no joke, they'd probably be in first place if they were in the NLC
Their biggest problem is playing down to the level of competition, but the "Mile High Milwaukee Massacre" was something to behold this week.

Very well worded, Bockstock. Very catchy and to the point! ;)
