I thought if he was gonna bring in the new guy to face Griffey, I would have cut the game off. He struck Griffey out two weeks ago in Cincy. We needed a K in that situation and who better to get one than Marmol. Good job Lou of sticking with Marmol for the 8th.

BTW, St Louis leading Milwaukee is NOT a good thing anymore, especially when we lose...

I was kind of thinking the same thing. If we are not gonna win the division, I would much rather the Crew win. With that being said, we are blowing it. The damn Reds- 17 under .500. Maybe that mickeyrom fellow is right.

Well when you don't have your first base runner until the 7th the ending usually isn't gonna be good. Harang was by no means unhittable, 3 solo homeruns before any baserunners is pretty bad.

Yes Sheff your right- I blame that on our pitch selection. Theriot had a 3-1 count and decided to swing at a pitch around his shoulders which he popped to Hatteburg. Two batters later Dlee hits a solo shot. Murton did the same thing the next inning. Dero in the 9th had a 1-0 count and decides to swing at one at his shins. Same old BS that I have sat through forever
