I am still trying to figure out why in the hell do teams pay an obscene amount of money to get rights to a player. When its no guarantee the player will even sign with team. Makes no sense to me.

I don't see why this guy was worth 25 mil just to bid. Almost like he Yankees are just trying to keep pace with the Red Sox. He's a projected #4 or 5. I'm glad we didn't get the rights to him...
