Favorite, and least favorite

Well I was watching some videos of the Cubs on Youtube, some good, some bad, and I started thinking of which game was my least favorite. But then, to get myself out of the hole I dug myself after reminding me of the worst game (IMO) of this year, I thought of the best. So I figured I'd ask you guys.


My least favorite - Cubs vs. Mets at Wrigley, when the Mets knocked in 11 runs in 1 inning, 8 of those runs coming off 2 grand slams. I was depressed the rest of that day.

My favorite - Cubs vs. Sox Wrigley Field, when the Cubs scored 7 runs in thr first, and eventually went on to win 15 - 11. It was my favorite game for countless reasons. Not only did we whoop the Sox, but also, we scored 7 runs in the 1st, with the 6th and 7th runs coming across via Zambrano's 3rd homerun of the season, Pagan got his 1st and 2nd career homeruns, on his birthday no less, and it was overall a very exciting game through every inning. Every time the Sox got close, we just pulled away. I was glued to the TV.

My least favorite was the Cubs vs Dodgers game in which DLee broke his wrist..

My favorite game was the home series opener against the Cards. Barrett hit that grand slam off Izzy to propel the Cubbies. I was at that game.

A lot of games to choose from, but I think I'll have to go with gem on this one. The Cubbies just weren't the same after DLee went down, and that shot off Izzy was awesome, especially that early in the year when we thought we had a chance. :o

Only thing I would add is Barrett knocking the crap out of you know who. That was just great. :)

Game 2 of the 4 game series with Brewers at the end of June. It was a beautiful day sun was shining and the Cubs were losing. I was there with my wife and 2 kids . we were getting ready to leave in the 8th. Walker started a ralley followed by Barret to lead to a win the only game they won in the series:D

Hell they could have lost it still would have been the best game because , I had the best company any guy could want :)

I'm on board with the game against the cards early when barrett belted that gs off izzy. When the bases loaded up I said "if barrett hits one out ill piss myself!" Since i had to go but wasnt about to leave my seat. then, of course he belted onto waveland. I couldnt talk for a few days. It was especially great since my roommate, a die hard cards fan, had to sit through me yelling SWEEP at him all night.

My least favorite would have been early on against the Nats (soriano went deep twice btw) when in the bottom of the 9th with the gw run in scoring positiion w/ 2 outs and neifi bunted to lose the game. I was beside myself the rest of the day.

yeah, my best friend was in the bleachers that day.. and hasn't shut up about it.. man, he hates neifi. I'm pretty sure I blame dusty on that particular debacle though..

i have to say game 2 of the opening weekend series with the cardinals was both my favorite and least favorite. it was my favorite cause barrett won it with his homerun. also as a side note it was my favorite cause it was my 21st bday.
but it was also my least favorite cause it was sooooooo cold that i had to go back out on the concourse to enjoy my first beer at Wrigley
