Just wondering what you guys think. I'm thinking not. It was nice to see him back one last time though. Wish we could have done something with him here.

This is it. November 5, 2006. The first ever thread on fogpog. Oddly enough I'm the 1st to ever re-post and even more odd it's still a valid question. Are we content with our pitching depth? Maddux? F. Garcia? Bedard?

That is something else !!
My answer is I don't see what we really need ( left handed power pitcher ) out there available to us.

We don't need any more pitching, as much as i would of loved for us to do something with Maddux here, we can't look to the past and let emotion rule intelligence.

If Hendry takes on anymore old dudes from SD he is really testing his luck
And the Cubs have 6-7 guys that can pitch as well as/beter than Maddux at this stage of his career

I would love to have maddux back, but you are 100% right.

no. i think marquis is sufficient and if he doesn't work out in the 2nd half then we have Marshall.
