I was shocked to see him already sent down.....but here is the reasoning behind it:

In other news, rookie Eric Patterson was sent to Double-A Tennessee after arriving late to the ballpark on Monday, a violation the Cubs did not want to let go because he'd done the same thing at Triple-A Iowa.

I heard that before the game tonight. They made a comment about him needing to get a functioning alarm clock! :rolleyes: I personally don't see how anyone could possibly be late to play at Wrigley Field or anywhere else amongst the ranks of the Cubs organization.

Ouch, thats a pretty big punishment.Punishment fits the crime. These guys can't make it to the ballpark on time? Come on! It's a privilege and great opportunity to play in the big leagues, and he can't make it to the park on time?
