Thanks for the link, Nolan Sanders. I'm interested in knowing his real age. He definitely looks older than 26 or 27! I've wondered about a lot of the Latin players' ages. Jose Contreras is older than he claims to be, and as much as I love Aramis, he's definitely older than 28!

I think he as old as he says he is, and what it says on his bio on cubs.com. who cares what other people think/guess

It doesn't really matter what age he is, it's just that the number he has given and the number on his bio page don't match! If he doesn't want to give out his actual age, at least stick to the same number. (I'm a woman, so I know what it's like to lie about age, but I've always stuck with cutting off 10 years, that way I always keep my story straight!) But,as long as he's an asset to the team, I couldn't care less if he's 26 or 56!

I definately care, we have him locked up for 8 years. When a player is getting older there's a big difference between 35 and 38.
You never know with Dominican Players... I'd like to know how old Orlando Hernandez really is..

Maybe Dominican years are like dog years.. they don't coincide with the rest of the world..

You're as old as you feel! Doubt he'll still be stealing 40 bases a season in HIS 40's tho...
Good lying about age story: over here in the world of soccer Newcastle just signed a Nigerian forward in his early 20's. Unfortunately another Nigerian in the team, who is 30, remembers playing in a youth team with him....
Also, any thoughts on Freddy Adu's real age, apparently he's coming to my team next summer...
