mlb.com says the Cubs might be keeping 3B open if Aramis leaves. I'm not sure Nomar would want to play third, but it would be a nice replacement if he does.

I have to admit I'm one of those guys that liked Nomar. I don't think playing third would be much worse than playing first. We did give him a couple chances in Cubbie blue though and it didn't work out, so I'm not sure he'll be back.

Nomar committed a lot of throwing errors at short. I'm not sure he would be much better at third. He is also injured often, so we would need a good backup just in case. That said, if Aramis leaves, I wouldn't mind Nomar. He is a great hitter.

hey, czech. do you think Nomar would even want to come back? seems like he enjoyed playing for us.

I think Nomar would come back for the right offer. I just wonder how many other teams are interested in him.
