Mad Dog without a thought. I hope he comes back as a coach when his career ends as well.

Same here... Never really thought of it, but he could be the Ricky Henderson type, but for pitching.

Neifi you are right. When Mad Dog was here he it appeared to me that he was always trying to help the younger pitchers. If he makes the choice to be a coach I have a feeling that he could "Be one of the better pitching coaches in baseball when he gives it up as a player." The reason I say that is because he got people out without always having the greatest stuff. This guy didn't throw it 98 mph he changed speeds and he moved the ball around so nicely. He just knows how to locate the pitch. When you watched him warm up you would think he would get killed but it was the other way around for the most part of his major league service. He made it tough on the hitters.

His home is out on the west coast but the Cub's made a major mistake letting him get away to the Braves, but he did come back. Then look at what happened in 2006 with all the injuries to people on the team. From watching you can tell that Lou is a much better "manager" for the pitchers than Dusty was. As much as I wanted to trust Dusty... I felt he would leave the starters in way too long. I miss them so much and it hasn't even been a week... Thank the Lord for FogPog ;)
