Maybe a little lame, but Top Gun is probably my favorite. I guess it's just stuck with me from being a kid. The Rocky movies are always on my list as well.

Top Gun is a good pick it ranks high on my list also, but top of the list has to me Full Metal Jacket. I just seen Lucky Number Slevin and if you have not seen that movie I would recomend watching it, it was a good movie.

I am a big Rocky fan. Can't wait untill December 22 when Rocky Balboa comes out! But I think my favorite movie I can watch again and again has to be Major League.
"What are you trying to say Jesus Christ can't hit a curveball??" classic line!

You mentioned you like any Kevin Kostner movie. He's pretty good. I like just about any Ed Harris movie. What other actors/actresses do you folks like?

"Field of Dreams" is a great baseball movie, but there is one thing about it that always has sort of ruined it for me.Ray Liotta, who is a terrfic actor[Goodfellas]
is the most miscast actor of all time, playing Shoeless Joe Jackson.
Shoeless Joe was a simple country boy from South Carolina, and one of the best left handed hitters ever.
Ray Liotta is as city as it comes, better suited to play a cop or mobster.
And the worst part is they have Shoeless Joe batting right handed in the movie!! What is up with that?

I have more of a favorite Director, than Actor.
I love almost anything that Martin Scorsese does, including his latest,"The Departed"

My seven year old son's new favorite movie is World Trade Center. We have to watch it on a daily basis. Nicholas Cage is absolutely wonderful in that movie. What I liked about the movie, is it wan't another documentary about 9-11, but brought some of the heroism to life. My son was too young to remember 9-11, so it opened a door to discussion about it. I sat down and watched one of the documentaries I have on it with him, and he understood the movie a little bit better after that, but since then, that is about the only movie he will watch!!!!!!

That was an awesome trailer until I saw Mike North then it lost me for a second. Then I saw Steve Stone and it won me back. I can't believe I've never heard of this movie before. I tried to find a link on his site to buy it but couldn't see one. Are you able to buy that documentary? Regardless, thanks for the link, that was sweet.

I saw a thing about that not too long ago. Looks like a good movie, one I definetly wanna watch.

But I watched the trailer, and it had Bernie Mac in it. Isn't he a Sox fan? Or did I hear wrong.

Back in 03 he claimed he was a Cubs fan.....when the Sox went to the WS he claimed the south side as his favorite team........what a bitch is all i have to say.

F**k, Bernie Mac,not only is he a south side Chicago White Sox fan,who jumped on the Cub band wagon in 2003,I still blame him for what happened in the "Bartman game".He sang "take me out to the ballgame" during the 7th inning stretch of that fateful game. The Cubs still had the lead at the time, and when he got to the root, root ,root, for the Cubbies part,he had to
say root, for "the champions"!!! As soon as he did it I just knew that he had jinked us.And the rest of that game, and series is history.
Thanks,Bernie!!! Stay the hell away from Wrigley this year!!!

Which one? The one with Cuba Gooding Jr. or the Russel Crow version....both are good i thought, but the one with Crow is better.

The Crowe one, without a doubt. That movie is amazing with a good surround sound system and a large television. (and without, obviously)

I didn't know there was another movie by the same name. Is it about the same thing? (basically, anyhow?)

Naw it's a different subject, it's a 1992 flick that stars James Marshall, Cuba Gooding and Brian Dennehy. It's a boxing movie.

"Raiders of the Lost Ark"

Alot of elements at work here, the greatest action star of the last quarter century at his best improving and doing his own thing with the script, Lucas and Spielberg at their creative zenith before the drudgery of mainstream Hollywood, political correctness, and self-importance tainted their movies, the various aspects of good vs evil present (US vs. Nazis, Nazis vs. Religion, Greed vs. Spirituality, Indiana vs. his arch-archeologist, Faith, etc.).

Depends on my mood, and I almost never watch films anymore but...

High Fidelity/Wet Hot American Summer/Almost Famous/Harold and Kumar

Also Star Wars and Indy series', Kevin Smith films generally and all 3 James Dean films.
