Baseball is a game of superstitions. So, in preparation for the the postseason here, do any of you have any superstitions?
(Not talking curses here)

I always have my Cubs bracelet on during big games.....

I always stand for the last out in a Cubs Win....even at home.

I won't talk during the pregame show song on WGN radio....and won't respond to anyone talking to me! (usually at work)

Of course, we have our little Angel http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w224/ryno4ever/Happy%20times/aaaassss222.gif that we use in our game threads when the Cubs seem to need a little help from the outside.

Great post... as usual.

Hmm...

I wear my Kerry Wood jersey during his every outing... I don't even care if it is dirty!

I don't know if this counts but... when I am watching my Cubbies no one can talk to me while the bases are loaded for EITHER team.

This doesn't count but if anyone talks NON-BASEBALL during the game... they leave immediately.

LOL

I have the stuffed Goat head keychains (about the size of a baseball) that I got at this year's home opener hanging from my purse and my rearview mirror in my car!

How could I forget... I were my Authentic Cubs hat during every game.

When the Cubs are winning my Cubs flag hangs on the right side of my porch... when they are losing I have it on the left side of my porch 2 inches lowered...

Wow, what Cubs fans will do!!!... I LOVE IT!!!

I don't like the idea of Curses and all that crap. Bartman was a guy that did what every other fan would do, reach for a ball, and I fell bad for all the misplaced crap he got. Curses are nothing more than excuses for simple minded people that can't think clearly so they make up some mystical reason, its sick.

I'm not talking about "curses"...I'm wondering if people wear the same shirt for big games, have a special routine that you don't feel comfortable breaking.... (like the breaking the mirror brings 7 years bad luck type thing or walking under a ladder... or wishing on a shooting star)

Its all the same thing. If I don't turn the game on at exactly the right time, will they lose? Not because of me! :D

No routines for me.

Usually i like to be comfortable while i am watching the game. I just do whatever makes me feel good at the time. I don't have any "lucky" shirts or a good start "lucky" breakfast or anything. Maybe i should start?
