Well at least our starting lineup. We still need a few more bench players I think.

I agree. Have faith and expect the unexpected. Good things have happened so far!

I thought I read that they needed more. Well now that I think about it, they got the bench pretty solid, with them, and probably Cedeno and/or Theriot.

Actually I have heard talk about the bench and LP has expressed his concerns about having quality bench players, so I am not real sure that Hendry is actually done in that category either.

it sounds good but for some reason i cant get excited about renting lofton, or adding another outfielder for that matter. it makes sense but i just cant get behind it

I think that Pie should be given a chance. 5-7 mil for K-Lo is too much. Save it and use it on another starter. Even if Pie hit .260 at ML level, we could weather that. His D would outweigh the extra 20-25 points that we lose from K-Lo.

I think to insinuate that the Cubs are gonna pay 5-7 Mil for Lofton is a little steep considering he only made 3.8 Mil last year. Even though the market has been inflated this year I just don't see a 7 Mil a year contract going to Lofton.

Pie hitting 260 in the MLB this year is a joke. He can barely bat that in the minors

Pie is having issues hitting in the minors. He is having issues hitting in the winter league. We forget that he is like 20. He still needs another year or so. He also needs to learn how to run the bases which isn't all that sexy right now.

Seems like it might look about as good as Rexman when he drops back to throw? lol
