From CBSsports.com:
FLORIDA MARLINS
Free-agent outfielder Cliff Floyd said he is thinking about retiring after 15 seasons. But, the Palm Beach Post reports he first wants to take a swing at ending his career where he had some of his best years - in Florida.

Eh, I don't think he'd be back anyway
My favorite Floyd moment: Calling out the leaker (Barrett) from the players-only meeting. the home run at Pittsburgh was pretty sweet too from early in the season.

We all know Floyd is a really good person and all, but he is always hurt and didn't do much this season to give JH a reason to resign him.

I'm just glad there is finally some Cubs talk taking place....no matter how insignificant it is! :) Kaplan even had Cubs talk on WGN last night about how the new owners could be changing the name of Wrigley and getting more field advertising going to keep up with the exploding salaries and competition. Boy, there were some really passionate fans calling in...who were also suffering from some major OSB (off season blues).

If I were the new management, I'd acutally try to get the Wrigley Gum Company to pony up more bucks for naming rights. Even though the field was named after the Wrigley family, it's also the name of a corporation, like Busch.

This is my guess too. Has anyone heard anything lately regarding Cliff's decision?
