2007 World Champions. Lots of great substories in the whole playoffs this year. What a memorable year in Major League Baseball.

Some of the articles on ESPN are atating that this has been one of the most boring playoffs they can remember. Specifically Caple, I think, wrote one writing about the lack of drama.

I think nothing can top last year's series on the "bore rating".

I think the Jon Leister story is an awesome one of hope.... this 23 year old kid was diagnosed with leukemia last year.... took the time to get treated, beat the disease, and a year later, he gets the win in the last game of a World Series Championship.

The Rockies story was a pretty good one too...

I second that on the Red Sox. Even when they were down 3-1 in the ALCS, I didn't see any sense of panic in the team. They just took it one game at a time.

I hope that the Cubs new ownership follows the same blueprint that John Henry and his people used since taking over six years ago.

I have to give the Red Sox organization credit. They played very well all year and then their new "season started". Boston got down to the Indians 3 to 1 in the A.L. Championship but they didn't blink. Took things one item at a time and came back to win the whole thing.

The Rockies were so hot and were on such a nice roll I think the 8 days off did upset their momentum.

Now let the off-season bargaining begin.

Have a Safe-Off Season and keep coming back, with new ideas and news. !
