Okay, guys and gals.... in just a short time Christmas will be upon us..... and we all know Cub fans (or just to help create a wish list for yourself), name some "Cubs gifts" you have recieved, or have seen that you could use for that perfect gift for a Cub fan....

GAMES:
Cubs Monopoly
Cubs UNO
Cubs Checkers

BOOKS:
Wrigleyville (although I haven't yet read it, I heard it is AMAZING)
Cubs Nation

DVD:
The new 8 disc DVD set that has complete awesome games.... Walmart has it for about $60, but if you Ebay...keep an eye out, I got mine for about $25, new....
Chasing October (http://www.cubsmovie.com/index/) (Seriously, if you haven't seen it yet....IT IS A MUST FOR CUBS FANS!)
Forever Loyal (A tribute to Cub fans)

Last Christmas, I got a popcorn bowl gift set that is Cubs themed... and we saved it and used it for the first time the night before the regular season when they played in Vegas.....

I'm sure there are more neat things out there, and I am looking for that perfect thing to get my dad!

Hi everyone! :D I'm back! I don't think I've been on since like Spetember. I got a job and then school started but it feels great to finally have a break! When we won the division, I dyed the tips of my hair red and blue and I have to admit, it looked awesome!

Anyway, back to the thread, I got a MLB.com Christmas catalog in the mail yestrday and there's some cool stuff. Here's some stuff to add to the list above:

Games-
Cubs Chess

Books-
Where Have All Our Cubs Gone? by George Castle

DVD-
This Old Cub (if you don't have it yet)

Other-
This is more for women, but they have a Department 56 light-up Wrigley Field! It's a must if you collect snow village houses. It's hard to find and last time I checked they didn't have them on their website. They also have like a little hot dog stand with a Cubs hat on top and a set of bleachers but I think it's just general bleachers because they have Fenway Park and Yankee Stadium too.

Also, a personalized jersey is a really great gift too.

Hope that helps! Also, have a Happy Thanksgiving! I doubt I'll be on here tomorrow because I have to toast like 10 loaves of bread for stuffing. How fun! not.

LOL! Triple Play.... I work in a town where they have made many championship rings for major sporting events and have a few friends who work there. They (http://www.mtmrecognition.com/) made the White Sox World Series rings back in '05.... and I beleive it was Rinesdorf's wife who made the trip down and help design the rings before they went to production! I told my friends who work there that if they ever had the task of making the Cubs World Series championship rings, I would want them to make me one....and I would want to be able to use any sort of employee discount they have!!!! LOL. They said that they had joked there at the factory saying that if they ever were able to make the Cubs World Series rings, they would have to have the National Guard posting guard outside the building to keep us crazy Cub fans away!
