Hello Cubs Nation! I am not one of you... yet, but if the rumors I here are true I may be a part time Cubs fan soon. Brian Roberts is my favorite player and it sounds like Andy MacPhail is going to give him to his old friend Ted Hendry as soon as he's done trading Erik Bedard somewhere, so it looks like I will be splitting my loyalties next year while my Orioles rebuild. Brian is a great leadoff hitter and second baseman who always makes exciting plays and gets his uniform dirty and he's very sweet to fans and does a ton of charity work. He has been the lone bright spot that has made the Orioles worth watching for most of the last few years and now he really deserves a chance to go play for a team in contention. Hopefully all of you guys will be able to see him for that and not whatever rumors Larry Bigbie wants to spread about him allegedly experimenting with something 5 years ago.
