Good question. I wish I had an answer but I'm not picky. I used to ditch many classes to drink Leine Red by the pitcher, so that will also hold a special place in my heart. I like guiness so it will also be special to me.
Old style, PBR, Keystone- all special. Does Grey Goose count?

You've got a buttload of micro brews out your way. Fat Tire recently made its way out to Chicago.

Do you go to that beer fest in Boulder? My friend went to CU and won't shut up about that thing. He's a little strange though.

I gotta ask, is it "Schmidt's Gay" from Saturday Night Live? That was a funny snl skit. But yeah I've never heard of it.

Damn right it does. I didnt really start drinking until a recent trip out there. Good stuff.
Picking between favorite beers is like picking fav children. For everyday drinink beer, Bud Heavy hands down. When I feel like dropping a little extra coin, and depending on my mood, Carlsburg, Goose Island any flavor, Red Hook IPA, Fat Tire, Guinness, and the list goes on and on. Bell's won't be delivering to Chicago anymore unfortunately. As a matter of fact im pretty pissed about that. i should start a thread. Matter of fact I will.

Haha.. best beer ever: Goose Island 312 on tap. For everything else, there's Bud Light.

About 90% of those beers are unavailable here (and you must be getting better Bud, because our Bud tastes horrible) - similarly, do you get Budvar over there?

Being a student I drink the single cheapest beer I can buy: Tennents, which is our national lager, and while not being "pleasant" is certainly drinkable.

Best beer is Kozel or Pilsner Urquell, it's impossible to beat German and Czech beers, on tap (and for 50 cents a half-litre). I may have to return to Prague merely for the beer and steak....

I was in Germany for a couple weeks in '99. and from what I remember that was the best beer I had ever had. Ridiculously strong too. Which was great for a college kid from the states.

No budvar, but i agree, its tough to beat czech or german beer. I heard story upon story about drinking like a king on bus fare in prague. i need to get there sometime soon.

yeah, but I watched this movie about prague.. and they all ended up getting kidnapped and killed in this building.. Hot chicks in a hostel just seems like a bad idea. Something bad will inevitably happen if I'd go there..

Gonna have to go with Bud Light as the norm, but there are quite a few good one out there. And then there's always the Jack and Coke to lean back on, as some of you here know! :p

My all-time favorite beer was Bud Ice. I don't drink alcoholic beverages lately.
