I say we finish above .500 and that the NL Central won't be strong again. I know a lot can happen between now and the start of the season, but I think we'll be better.

I agree, above .500. I don't see this team making the playoffs though. It all depends what happens this off season. If we lose Aramis without a decent replacement, .500 might be out of reach.

Put me down for above .500 too. I don't think the playoffs are possible this year, but nobody thought so in Dusty's first year either. If we can have a plan similar to what the Tigers have done the last couple years, I would be ecstatic!

Realistically, about .500 and no playoffs. As a diehard fan, World Series here we come!:D

I'll wait to make predictions until the offseason is complete.
I'm hoping for a .500 team that plays good fundamental baseball....2008..now were talking...;)

Hello gang,
I'm new here. All I can say is if that POS cardinal team can win it all than we surely have a shot.

It's too early to predict, almost half of our offense isn't set and we still need 40% of our rotation lol.

I don't know about next year yet, heyhey, but last year sure would have been a nice year to at least be decent. we maybe would have had a shot like the Cards did.
welcome by the way!

I thought that the 2007 part of this thread was a typo, and I was going to predict an 85-77 season. But the original thread got bumped up. I will go out on a limb for 08 and go with a 92-70 season. NL Central Champs once again.
