It is through CSBSports.com. It is a free league, both AL and NL and with a Head to Head format. I did put an automated draft set for next Saturday, the 9th because we will probaby have quite a few Yahoo drafts that are live.
However, I need email addy's to send out invites.... so either leave them here or PM me with them.

this is the first one from CBS that I have started, and it doesn't look like I can change any of the league options like I can in yahoo, but, hey, it's baseball!!!!!! :)
DONT' FORGET TO RANK YOUR PLAYERS!

You are now going to manage an MLB team. On Jan. 9th, the computer will actually pick your team for you (on Yahoo, we will actually have a live draft where on a certain day and time we will all go into a chat 'draft' room and pick our players. So, before Saturday, go here (http://freemeeting.1.baseball.sportsline.com/rankbypos) and rank your players. Give the players you want more on your team the higher rank and you will have more a chance that player will be drafted to your team.
Once the season starts, once a week you will go in and set your lineup for the week, including your starting pitchers, etc. Hint: If someone is struggling or injured, bench them. You will have one spot for a DL player with the ability to call in a FA from the FA list.
As the players who are on your team do things in a real game (homer, basehit, a pitcher has a strikeout, etc) you will get points.... obviously the bigger the thing is the more points. You will get more points for a grand slam than a double.
There can be trading among the teams...
I like Yahoo much better, as you can edit your lineup everyday, but CBSsports deals with real time stats...yahoo is usually a day behind.
This is a real good way to keep up on players that are not in the NL or even on the Cubs.
The best way to learn is just do it and learn as you go. It's just for fun and you're not going to be out anything but the time you put into it.

Wow an early start. I have not even finished ranking my players. Some players I needed to wait to see some of in ST to see if they are worth a flyer but hey I am in.

I just got this email from CBSsports
The draft day for your league has arrived and,
unfortunately, not enough owners have signed up to fill the
league. This league will be disbanded but there are still
plenty of openings in leagues that will be drafting soon.
Feel free to stop by
http://freemeeting.1.baseball.sportsline.com/ and join
another Live Draft league or Automated Draft league.

Yeah, we were a couple of players short. I'll wait until Yahoo gets theirs up and going and try it again... I am familiar with their options and formats....

true, but the more you have, the less time you have to devote to each league. And the more likely you are to bail out on leagues where you dont have a good team, or are struggling

Okay, I'm going to set up a live draft on yahoo.... I am usually available on Wednesday or Saturday nights as a guarantee....I want to be able to have as many of the players available as possible.... and for the newbies, even if you are not available, you can still take part, the computer will pick for you based on your player rankings.
