A reported three-team deal that would send Jennings to the Cubs, right fielder Brad Hawpe and either Carlos Marmol or Angel Guzman to the Pirates, with the Rockies receiving Cubs right fielder Jacque Jones and Pirates starter Paul Maholm, was shot down by officials from two of the teams.

I saw that sheff. That really blows. We need to land another pitcher besides Lilly.

Yeah that could hurt, hopefully we don't end up falling to plan B or C because then who knows what we will get if anything. Te pitching market is so short handed this year its scary.

I was a little shocked reading that Jones was looking to get traded citing that he didnt like the way he was treated in right field. I was a fan

that does suck since he was our best run producer in dlee's absence (not counting after the break when aram figured out how to hit) and that stupid b**** threw a ball at him. Which is also why they stopped throwing warm up balls into the bleachers, cant blame them for it either. if he's in right again this year the fans will show him love. they'd better anyway.
