I'm a pretty big Hawkeyes fan, but also like the UNI Panthers. Too bad Iowa is pretty much sucking this year! :o

Yeah I think so, sorry man. Cato was the man in college but like all ISU players he didn't amount to much in the NBA.

I'm a Hawkeye through and through (BA December '95). It's going to be tough in San Antonio against Texas, and I can't believe the Panthers came back to beat the Hawks in Iowa City last night.

Nebraska Cornhusker fan
I live near Cedar Falls, so I am a UNI Panther fan, I look at it as, I like them for DIV-II Football, and for basketball. But I like the Huskers for DIV-I football, and baseball (they are good there too). The huskers are starting to improve on the Basketball standpoint, and maybe football. We will see how this west coast runs in the next few years.

Division II, DLee25? UNI is in Division I National Championship Subdivision, aka Division I-AA.
BTW, are you in Waverly, Waterloo, Dunkerton, Dike, etc.?

unfortunately, yes. I actually went to ISU for a semester and hated having to be a closet hawk fan. I went there b/c i knew I wouldn't get anything done and flunk out in iowa city. Turns out i would have done that anywhere!
I actually see the ISU program getting back on track soon. They got a coach and in a few years they will threaten in the Big 12 north, I think.

I totally agree, except on football. Basketball they will be top 25 threat within the next couple of years. Just wait for Macs recruiting.
