Am I wrong in thinking that the Cubs haven't signed or traded for any pitchers for the rotation since Maddux. Everyone else has come up through the system. (Or been Wade Miller, which was more of a gamble than anything else)
Similarly, we haven't actually lost any frontline starters (other than Maddog) in this timeframe.
