This really may throw a curveball as to what we have been thinking. Lou mentions the fact of Pie playing in spring training and then also back peddles and says that the general census is that Pie be given one more year to develop. hmmmm well is this maybe the left handed bat they take?

I would be flabbergasted if Pie breaks Spring Training with the big league team, no matter what Lou says. His aaa/aa numbers indicate he's just not ready for big league pitching every day. They need to give him a full season in iowa. He's only 21, he has time on his side.

Good article. It's nice to see Lou having a plan in motion. I like his attitude with Pie. He's not putting pressure on the kid, which will hopfuly leading him to perform...

As is, we have a solid lineup. We need a couple starters and we're in good shape...
